Privacy Policy

What this site collects, what it does not, and what you can do about it.

Last updated October 6, 2026

This policy explains what Cue & Cabinet collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

Who we are

Cue & Cabinet (cueandcabinet.com) is published by MadGrey LLC. For any question about this policy or about data we hold, email contact@cueandcabinet.com.

Everything this site collects, and why.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no password to store.
  • No payment data. We sell nothing. Any purchase happens entirely on the retailer's site.
  • No newsletter list, unless and until one is added - in which case it will be opt-in and separately described.
  • No advertising network cookies. This site carries no display advertising.
  • No data sales. We do not sell, rent or trade any data about you to anyone, for any purpose.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate - which pages are read, which are abandoned, and which recommendations get clicked. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy documentation and may set cookies in your browser to do so.

You can opt out entirely with Google's browser add-on, with a tracking-blocking extension, or with your browser's own privacy settings. The site works identically either way - nothing here is gated behind analytics.

Product links on this site go through a redirect that adds our affiliate tag and sends you to the retailer. The retailer - Amazon - then sets its own cookies to attribute any purchase to us. Those cookies are Amazon's, governed by Amazon's privacy notice, and we do not read them or receive any personal data about your purchase.

What we do receive is an aggregate commission report: how many items were bought, not who bought them. Our full affiliate disclosure is here.

The contact form

Submitting the contact form sends your name, email address and message to our inbox so we can reply. We use it for that and nothing else - no marketing list, no onward sharing. Your IP address is held in memory briefly for rate limiting and is never written to a database.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Since the only personal data we hold is whatever you chose to send us through the contact form, the practical answer is usually simple: email us and we will delete it.

For analytics data, which is held by Google rather than by us and is not linked to your identity, Google's own privacy controls are the effective route.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially - a new analytics tool, a newsletter, a new affiliate network - the updated date at the top of this page changes and the new practice is described here before it starts.
